Staying around the Lizard Peninsula this Christmas? Why not indulge in some festive cheer with the Falmouth Christmas Market.

 

Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat is set a along the stunning coastline of Cornwall, on the Lizard Peninsula – the most southerly point of the UK. Glorious at any time of the year, but around Christmas this beach resort is outstanding. The town of Falmouth is a short distance away from Mullion Cove and is hosting the Falmouth Christmas Markets at The Poly. Starting on the 30th November and running all the way through until Christmas Eve this Christmas Market is sure to put you in the festive spirit.

Whether you are looking for stocking-filler inspirations or unique handmade presents there will be something here for you to marvel at. With original artwork and prints, glasswear and ceramics, jewellery, textiles, vintage clothing, books and Christmas cards all to feast your eyes on. Plenty of local produce to try out ready for the big dinner, there will also be carol singing from the local school choir – guaranteed to lift your festive spirits. Join in with the Christmas workshops on offer, with everything from Magic Dreambooks – handmade textile art journals, – to learning to make your own wreath and making your own Christmas tree decorations. You can enter the competition for the best homemade Christmas tree decoration; either make one at home or in the workshop and see if yours ends up on the tree! All materials are included in the workshops, so all you have to bring is yourself, Christmas cheer and festive laughs!
