Lyme Regis folk festival 2018

Enjoy a full weekend of Folk music from local and national musicians at one of the areas most popular summer events. The festival has a history of showcasing fantastic young talented artists that may not get the chance to show their skills elsewhere, the festival takes places at different venues around the town and a full programme of events where you can find them can be found on the theatre website.

An annual and breathtaking event illuminates the historic Cobb Harbour in Lyme Regis with over 5000 tea light candles! When you purchase your candle you’ll be helping to raise funds for local and national charities, including the Lyme Regis Youth Projects and the British Royal Legion, the tea lights help to transform the harbour into an amazing sight as the walls turn into an endless chain of illuminations. The event has previously raised up to £40,000 for chosen charities.

Four fantastic artists of different mediums have joined together to showcase their impressive talents. Celia Goodman and Kathy Collins are glass artists, Martin Collins is a potter and Jasper Jacob is a watercolourist, they are all inspired by landscapes and seascapes and will be demonstrating how they are inspired by and use colour, light and shape to create their beautiful pieces of work.

A wonderful one day family fun festival in Dorchester, which is now its 10th year!
