In 2015, Darwin Escapes purchased the former camping and touring caravan site known as Newton Brook and invested heavily with the aim of turning the park into the go to destination for luxury lodge holidays in Bath.

Alternatively, if you are looking to enjoy a spot of fine dining then you can always head to the on-site Brook Bar & Bistro, which is located in a 350 year old mill house that we have spent a significant amount of time and money renovating. The resort itself is located just over 2 miles outside of Bath, with the city centre easily accessible via the scenic walkway running along the Newton Brook. Bath is a stunning city to behold with beautiful architecture and a plethora of pet-friendly visitor attractions including the beautiful Bath Skyline Walk which stretches for six miles providing elevated views of the surrounding region. Take in the beautiful plant life and explore hidden valleys along the way, with the Iron Age Fort on Little Solsbury Hill being a great place to sit back and admire the Somerset countryside.
The Royal Victoria Park is another must visit for pet owners, with the 57 acre park having first been opened in 1830 by Queen Victoria, after whom it is named. The site features a tennis court, bowling green, crazy golf course and a botanical garden so there is plenty to see and do. It is also a great place to unwind, with beautiful scenery and a tranquil atmosphere.
