UK staycations are never predictable when it comes to the weather so layers will be your best friend. Pack a mix of tops, jumpers, waterproofs, warm coat, walking shoes and flip flops for the hot tub!

toiletries & personal items

Your lodge will come with some bathroom and kitchen basics but remember your go-to shampoo, conditioner, skincare and any other must haves. A small first aid kit, sunscreen and insect repellent are always handy too.

entertainment

A lodge holiday is all about slowing down and appreciating your surroundings but evenings in the lodge are always better with some games, books or movies. Pack some cards or even a streaming device for your evenings in.

chargers & tech

Another kind of obvious one but one that you will be the most annoyed about if you forget it is your chargers for any phones, tablets etc that you are wanting to bring. Portable chargers could also be useful during your days out.

One of the biggest perks of a self-catering holiday is being able to eat exactly what you love. And each lodge includes everything you could need in the kitchen to create each meal from hearty breakfasts to easy dinners.

To make things easier make sure you consider bringing:
