Make the most of the spring months during your stay with us.

If you are joining us at one of our resorts for a family getaway this spring, then you might be in need of some ideas to keep all the family entertained. Look no further as we have put together this blog of ideas for you to enjoy no matter what the British weather throws at you!

on-site facilities

A lot of our resorts have facilities on site, whether that be a bistro to enjoy a meal altogether, daily activities for the kids or an indoor swimming pool. If you are looking to keep the kids entertained, then book on to one of our GoActive activities by speaking to reception, there is something for all ages.

board games/card games

Make sure to bring along games that all the family can get involved in. Perfect for a rainy day and getting everyone together, games such as Monopoly can last all day if it can withstand any family tiffs!

baking

Something else that is perfect for a rainy day is baking. Perfect for getting the kids to help out and there will be plenty of easy baking recipes online if you don’t see yourself as a master baker.

crafts

Something that can keep you busy all afternoon is crafts. If you are at one of our seaside resorts, painting a rock from the local beach as a souvenir. There are plenty of seasonal crafts for Easter that can be done as well. As the new flowers grow in spring, flower pressing would also be ideal.

walking

Take the whole family on a walk and enjoy the fresh air and this year’s spring flowers growing. Depending on where you are staying you will be in the countryside or close to the beach, so there will be something to suit everyone. You can take in everything nature has to offer and you can walk as far as your family can manage!

visit the local petting farm

As Lambs, Piglets and baby goats are all being born in the spring, this is the perfect time to go to a petting farm! This will be a great day out for children and you can even take a picnic with you if the weather is warm.
