Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story costume display at Blenheim Palace
- holidays
As you may already know, parts of the Netflix show Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story were filmed at Blenheim Palace.
From 11th September to 5th November 2023, you will be able to visit the palace and see all the incredible costumes on display. Some of the costumes you will be able to see you will recognise from the iconic scenes throughout the series.
Some of the costumes on display are the likes of the wedding dress worn by Queen Charlotte as she climbs the palace walls. The peach and green ensemble Queen Charlotte wore along with King George’s corresponding dark grey and aubergine outfit from their first dinner as a married couple. And the dress from the iconic “under the bed” scene with her wig that is at the end of the series.
There are two ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ daily film tours at 11am and 3pm which last around 45 minutes where you will be taken behind the scenes of some of the most iconic moments throughout the series.
Heather Carter, Managing Director at Blenheim Palace said: “Fans of Queen Charlotte will already know and love Blenheim Palace as a backdrop for the hugely popular show, but being able to display these costumes from some of the most important moments is so special. It’s great that we’re able to keep that connection with Queen Charlotte and for people to have the chance to go behind the scenes of this fabulous series.”
