We have a range of dog friendly log cabin style lodges in our Lake District retreat which can sleep up to six people and are fully-equipped with all the self-catering facilities you would need to give you that ultimate luxurious home from home feeling. In your accommodation, you’ll also have access to widescreen TV’s, Wi-Fi access and an abundance of entertainment facilities; perfect for those cosy nights in.
And if a lodge with a hot tub is what you’re looking for, then you are in luck because Thanet Well has plenty to choose from. So not only can you enjoy a getaway with your beloved pooch, but you can also relax and unwind in style in the comfort of your very own bubbling hot tub.
In order to maintain the peaceful and tranquil location of Thanet Well, the parks on-site facilities are limited. However you can find convenience stores, bars, shops and restaurants just a short drive away and our reception on-site is also home to a small convenience shop.
This 5 star countryside resort is surrounded by endless mountains and beautiful landscapes, giving you plenty of opportunity for countless walks, which are not only great for pets to explore but also for the owners to unwind in complete tranquility. Greystoke Forest is one of the main scenic walking routes around Thanet Well but another must-visit destination is Coniston Water, which is home to the third largest lake in the Lake District and is just a short drive from the resort itself. If you don’t fancy walking the five mile long route then there are also boat hire options for those wanting to take to the water (your fur baby may not be so keen though).
