Then why not take a look at our Bath Mill Lodge Retreat in Somerset or our Kilnwick Percy Resort in Yorkshire, both parks are just a short drive from a City Centre location.
These resorts are ideally located to allow you to take in the peaceful surroundings of the countryside, while also being able to take advantage of everything that the stunning city locations of York and Bath have to offer.
Bath Mill Lodge Retreat
Being one of the most culturally rich cities that Britain has to offer, Bath is a must visit location. With various sites of historic significance, museums, water features, scenic walking areas and not to mention an impressive shopping district made up of well-known brands and quirky local stores.
It is of course most famous for its beautiful Roman Baths; the spring for which was first utilised in 836 BC by the Celts, and was used to worship the goddess Sulis. The site continued to be used after the Roman invasion, with the initial temple estimated to have been constructed between 60 and 70 AD. The site has been heavily redeveloped since, with the on-site museum providing a far more in-depth breakdown of the history of the Roman Baths, for those who have an interest.
Another highly recommended museum is the Jane Austen Centre, a permanent exhibition, which is dedicated to the life and works of the famous author. You can also pay a visit to the stunning Bath Abbey which was founded in the 7th Century or you may like to take a gentle stroll in the city centre park from where you can admire Pultney Bridge and the river which runs past the park itself.
There are plenty of eateries to sample in the city, with various tastes and requirements catered for by an eclectic range of restaurants. One of the most highly rated restaurants in the area is our very own Brook Bar & Bistro, which is located on Bath Mill Lodge Retreat itself. Our Head Chef and their dedicated team, offer a range of high quality traditional British Classics & exotic cuisine from further afield.
Our 5 star holiday resort also features a complete gymnasium to cater for varying training needs. The holiday lodges themselves are also second to none, with varying sizes available depending on your requirements. We have one to four bedroom options available, all of which are completed by modern interior designs and technological luxuries such as flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi access.
