Pendennis Castle
Enjoy breathtaking views from Pendennis Castle, which was one of Henry VIII’s favourite coastal fortresses.
The castle has a long history of defending the country, as far back as the Tudor age and right up to its important role during both World Wars.
Walk to the top of the keep for the best views, then follow the trails around the grounds and learn more about the history of the castle. This truly spectacular national monument is not to be missed, and a true wonder for the history buffs among us!
Lizard Point
Just a ten-minute drive from Mullion Cove, Lizard Point is the most southerly point of mainland Britain. Roam free across the cliffside, scale (carefully!) down to the stunning white beaches, and relax next to the turquoise sea.

Cornwall is famous for its sandy beaches, and around Mullion Cove there are a number of picturesque beaches where you can sunbathe for the day, and splash in the sea with your little ones. Head to Poldhu Cove or Gunwalloe Church Cove for a day of sun, sea and sand with your nearest and dearest.
The South West Coastal Path also follows the coastline around Mullion Cove. The 650-mile route offers you some of the most spectacular views of Britain’s coastline visible from the whole country, and lets you roam freely to discover the area in your own way. There are lots of circular day walks to explore, perfect for a midway lunch spot in the glorious sunshine.
