This annual event is heading into its eleventh year and is more popular with around 40,000 people visiting for the festival. Located around the harbour of Porthleven, there will be demonstrations by national and international chefs to marvel at, plenty of food stalls to browse, delicious street food to try and a plethora of entertainment from live music during the day and night.

When: 6th – 28th April / Where: Pendennis Castle
Follow the trail around the beautiful Pendennis Castle and join in the hunt for the legendary dragon eggs all over the Easter holidays, if you manage to find the elusive dragon egg you will get a chocolate treat for your efforts! If you hunt for the egg between 13th – 38th April, you’ll get to meet some fascinating Tudor characters too.

The live action actors will take you through the quest on the doomed Royal Anne to start your adventure, showing you the beautiful and authentic sets of Pirate’s Quest. The crew will then introduce you to four scandalous pirates, the Puritan pirate Black Bart, the Princess of Piracy Anne Bonny, infamous Captain Blackbeard and the Pirate King Henry Every, at the end of the adventure your group will vote who will be crowned at the leader of the Republic of Pirates. The option for the Live Scare tour is also available for all the thrill seekers out there.
ferdi’s big easter egg quiz
When: 6th – 22nd April / Where: Flambards
Flambards will be offering an action packed Easter holidays for all, including mad scientists explosions from their indoor laboratory, and their friendly mascot Ferdi leading a big Easter egg quiz trail where children of all ages can follow the clues around the park and win a chocolate egg! All the award-winning attractions at Flambards will be open as usual too.
