Our hotel rooms aren’t at every resort, but they are in a few dotted across the UK. Below you will find a quick round up of what resorts have hotel rooms, what facilities are at each resort and other useful information. So, if you are going away as a couple or as a small group that would prefer hotel rooms you will know where you can go with Darwin Escapes. Have a read below and start planning your next hotel break.
Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club
where:
Pocklington, Kilnwick Percy, York, YO42 1UF
facilities:
- Tranquility Spa – enjoy incredible treatments or just enjoy the spa facilities in the spa lodge.
- The Box Gym – known for being one of the best gyms in the area, try out the health and fitness studio during your stay.
- Glasshouse Restaurant – with views across the golf course, enjoy a meal with loved ones as a treat during your stay.
- Golf Course – the par 70 golf course is set in 120-acres of Yorkshire Wolds and makes a great experience for skilled and new golfers.

The resort is in the countryside market town of Pocklington and there is so much to see and do in the local area. The resort has its own nature trail which is a 2-mile trail that goes around the perimeter of the golf course. It’s also only a 30-minute drive to York which makes the perfect day out if you are wanting to explore a new city.
information on hotel rooms:
There are three different types of hotel rooms available at Kilnwick Percy, all suitable for two guests. The first is a King Room which is available in either a king or twin-sized beds. You’ll have everything you need from a bathroom to a flat screen TV and even tea and coffee making facilities.
The next room is a Super King Room which is on the first floor of the woodland hotel pods. With a large bathroom with both a walk-in shower and free standing bath, a TV, small sitting area and tea and coffee making facilities.
And finally, the 4 Poster Suite is the perfect choice for a romantic escape. With the same interior as the Super King Room, you will have everything you need here. You will also have doors that open out to a private decking area with your own hot tub to use as you please.
The Springs Resort & Golf Club
where:

- 1893 Spa – relax and unwind with a treatment or make use of the spa facilities like the sauna, steam room and hydro-therapy pool.
- The Ridgeway Restaurant – enjoy a mouth-watering meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant. With breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus available.
- Golf Course – this par 72 golf course is set in 133 acres of beautiful parkland along the River Thames and is perfect for skilled and novice golfers.

With the resort being in Wallingford, Oxford it is close by to so many amazing things to suit all. Oxford city centre is just a 30-minute drive away with plenty to see and do whilst your there. There are also so many different museums, parks and walks nearby like The Ridgeway National Trail which passes through the golf course on the resort.

There are four different types of hotel rooms at The Springs, and they are all suitable for up to two guests and each room is uniquely decorated. The first is the Executive Suite with a double bed and roll top bath in the bedroom. As well as a bathroom with a large shower and twin sinks.
The next room is a Deluxe Suite which comes in a double and twin option. Both spacious and beautifully decorated in either calming greens and neutrals or green and burnt orange. The bathroom is large with a roll top bath, twin sinks, and a large walk-in shower.
There are five different rooms available in the Junior Suite range all including king sized beds with double and twin options. Each room is decorated differently from opera inspired wallpaper to gold finishing’s and bold colours like teal and gold. The bathrooms have spacious showers, large sinks, and plenty of room.
Finally, we have the Alder Lodge which is a unique hotel-pod that comes in both double and twin options. Its exactly like a hotel room just in a lodge style pod with a private decking area to enjoy the views on the resort.
Dundonald Links Resort

- The Canny Crow Restaurant – this contemporary fine dining restaurant is on the first floor of the Clubhouse and offers meals for all occasions.
- Golf Course – the par 72 golf course is set in Ayrshire and has become an extremely popular course in the UK.
- The Clubhouse – enjoy views across the fairways and beyond from the Clubhouse, the perfect place to stop after a game of golf.
- The Whisky Room – try out a whisky tasting experience in The Whisky Room. Dundonald worked with Blair Bowman to curate all the whiskies you’ll taste.

There is so much to see and do in Ayrshire and beyond. With woodlands, beaches, walking trails and more to discover you can create memories that will last a lifetime. Glasgow is also only 30 miles away from the resort and it definitely worth the visit if you have time whilst you’re in Scotland.
information on hotel rooms:
Dundonald Links has over 20 hotel rooms across the resort and can fit up to two people per room. The rooms are built in buildings of two which means if you are planning on booking a stay as a family you can request two together and have interlocking rooms.
Each room has a double or twin option which can be requested whilst booking to suit you. The design of each room is modern with large comfy beds in a spacious room with a private ensuite. You will also find each room has a flat screen TV, coffee machine, and seating area.
The space is bright and airy with large floor to ceiling windows and doors that open out to your own private decking area with outdoor seating which you can enjoy in the warmer months and take in the views from the resort.
