We are almost at the end of 2023 and now is the perfect time to round up the amazing year we have had.
From brand new resorts opening to welcoming new owners to our resorts and providing unforgettable holiday experiences to you all, we have had another incredibly busy year at Darwin Escapes. Have a read below to see a full break down of things that have happened over the past year.

Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat
Woodstock, Oxfordshire
opened Summer 2023
We are proud to partner with Blenheim Palace to bring a luxury, self-catering lodge retreat to the Blenheim Estate grounds. Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat is our newest resort in England and offers the perfect escape for all. With plenty to see and do at Blenheim Palace during your stay.

Chester Zoo
We continued our special relationship with Chester Zoo throughout 2023 by enabling many families the chance to win tickets to visit the zoo this summer.
Birmingham Hippodrome
We have continued our work with Birmingham Hippodrome which is one of the busiest theatres in the UK and put various shows and events on throughout the year. This year they had productions like Jack and the Beanstalk.
Royal Shakespeare Company
Our partnership continued with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2023 and this year we sponsored As You Like It and had the pleasure to go and watch the production in the summer.
Guernsey Cricket
We have continued our partnership with Guernsey Cricket as the sponsor for the Guernsey National Men’s & Under 19 Squads for 2024.
Derby Book Festival
In May we attended the Derby Book Festival which was held from 19th – 27th May with various events going on in different venues. This year we sponsored the Sunday Takeover at Derby College which featured 8 events and 4 writing workshops.
British Heart Foundation
We donate furniture to British Heart Foundation every year from all of our resorts and this year was no different. Including various items like sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, bedside tables, and chairs. So far £31,412 has been raised through the furniture donations since working together.
Hoseasons Awards
We had another great year at the Hoseasons Awards and we are proud to say we won 8 Diamond Awards including ‘Best in Britain’ in the Holiday Park category and 7 finalists for 2023.

We also re-designed and updated our destination pages so that information about all the resorts in the area are showcased a lot clearer with all the relevant information you may need.
