traditional activities

The Shetland Pony Grand National is spread across the 3 days, with small jumps and real jockeys (children) enjoying the fun! This hugely popular event started 20 years ago, and is raising funds for Bob Champion Cancer Trust this year. There will be local bands attending on the different days, including local brass band Faversham Mission Brass Band, and the Kent Police Band, a self-funding band with both current and retired officers.

Tractor Ted will be back to entertain the children again this year, he will have his own area where the little ones can play on the Tractor Ted bouncy castle, operate digger den and complete a giant puzzle!

Titan the Robot will also be back this year, this incredible giant robot is a real crowd pleaser and has been a-part of the show for over a decade! Don’t miss out on the awesome free-flying birds of Prey at The Hawking Centre, visit the Dog and Duck display where a Collie dog herds the ducks skilfully through a course and around a ring. Don’t miss out on the Terrier Team, Harrietsham Ferrets, Gamegoer Gundogs, as well as free pony rides!
