Visit Lowther Castle for a fun fireworks display, where you can marvel at the striking lit up profile of Lowther Castle in the dark and enjoy the entertainment.

Carlisle fireworks

Where: Bitts Park / Dates: 2nd Nov / Times: 6.30pm – 9pm / Price: Free – donations welcome

Carlisle’s annual firework event is hugely popular with more than 35,000 people expected to attend this year which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The event is often listed in The Times Top 10 Bonfire list.

This event doesn’t set off fireworks, but offers you the perfect place to see everyone else’s fireworks while warming next to a community bonfire.

Swinside firework display

Where: Swinside Inn / Dates: 2nd Nov / Times: 6pm – 10pm / Prices: Adult £6.50, Child £2.95

The Swinside Inn is back with its annual and popular fireworks event in the community, where you can enjoy the food and drinks from the inn, then head outside for the fireworks display.


Cockermouth firework display

Where: Memorial Gardens, Cockermouth / Dates: 3rd Nov / Times: 5pm – 7pm

Head to the Memorial Gardens for a family fun fireworks evening this winter, enjoy the show and the rides, as well as the exciting atmosphere around.

Calthwaite bonfire & firework spectacular

Where: Calthwaite playing field / Dates: 2nd Nov / Times: 6.30pm

This traditional firework and bonfire show is consistently growing in popularity every year and ups the fantastic display every year. Head with your family to this event in aid of local charities and enjoy the show and refreshments available.
