Bude farmers & craft market

When: 26th August

There is a variety of stalls and gifts at the local Bude Farmers & Craft Market to suit everyone’s taste! From top notch and locally sourced Cornish food and drink to sample, and maybe take home to your static caravan to enjoy later on in the evening too! To fantastically unique gifts, local Cornish craft stalls, glass artists, jewellery, cushions, throws, candles, knitted items and stunning items made from local driftwood all to look through and take home! Located next to the canal and close to the sea the market is in a truly picturesque setting too boot!

Haywood Farm: cider social

When: 28th August

Haywood Farm is known for its world renowned cider, made on site of course. You can take a brilliant Orchard Tour and see where all the magic happens and learn how one of the best Cornish Ciders is lovingly made, before heading back for a BBQ and of course cider sampling! Over the bank holiday, and throughout the year, Haywood Farm host Cider Socials for the local community to get together and enjoy the brews with some fabulous local talent playing too, pop along and see what you can tap your feet to this August Bank Holiday in Bude.

life boat week

When: 27th August – 4th September

The Life Boat Week is the biggest fund raising event for the fabulous RNLI, who perform absolutely vital duties and save lives. For the week the RNLI put on search and rescue demonstrations, have table top sales and great craft fair, quiz nights and a fun family disco! With live music from local bands, including the fantastic Bude Male Choir, as well as a selection of local ales and mouth watering hog roast you can wander around to see the vintage cars, join in on the kids treasure hunt or a water sports challenge and have your face painted, all ready for the big firework finale!
