When: 27th – 28th August

A beautiful place where people can have a picnic or enjoy some refreshments, while listening to the local talent perform, including the fabulous Alan Thain. Lots of local bands will be showcasing their talent for you to marvel at during the Killacourt Summer Concerts, and you may be watching the next One Direction, so keep your eyes peeled during these fun Summer Concerts!


lusty glaze: beach tag rugby

When: 26th – 28th August

Lusty Glaze is known in Cornwall for its Adventure Centre and being one of the most beautiful beaches around. The Beach Tag Rugby Bank Holiday event has been one of the most popular in the area for the past 10 years, there is a one-day tournament on the Friday with knock out stages, and a two day tournament on Saturday and Sunday with a trophy presentation after the final. There will be live music, food and the annual firework display to finish off the weekend’s festivities!


bowgie inn ale festival

When: 26th – 29th August

Bowgie Inn is impossible to miss on the cliff over looking Crantock Beach, the big pink building is a beacon to all who want delicious food and endless fun! The annual Ale Festival is a hit with locals and holiday guests alike, there will be music, food and of course real ale and cider on offer to tickle those taste buds this August Bank Holiday in Newquay, all for a good cause supporting Cornwall Hospice Care!
