Bath is a historical and beautiful city at anytime of the year, but it is simply magical at Christmas!
The Bath Christmas Markets are legendary all over the UK, and for good reason. With over 170 traditional wooden chalets lining the streets there is so much on offer here…
Along with the stunning architecture, delicious restaurants and historical sight seeing on offer, you can soak up the atmosphere of the Christmas Markets. There is plenty of mulled wine, mince pies and handmade goodies to treat yourself to all while wandering around the market. The stalls surround the city including the historic and famous Roman Baths and the stunning Bath Abbey, you can enjoy the magical Christmas atmosphere and the historical sights of the city.
The stunning Santa’s Grotto will keep the kids, and young at heart, happy, or if you are looking to put your feet up and relax, then pop on over to the Apres Ski Bar and have a delicious hot chocolate. While wandering around the wooden chalets take your time and see the beautiful handmade glass sculptures, paintings, Christmas decorations, clothing, wooden and slate sculptures. There is something for every one at this magical event, even the fur-babies in your life, I managed to get Hugo a great squeaky duck and some really tasty lamb cookies from Four Legged Fancies!
Happy holidays folks! Have a wonderful, crafty, magical time at the Christmas markets!
