What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by experiencing what Blenheim Palace has to offer. This year Blenheim Palace has a host of incredible events on throughout the festive season that are perfect for everyone. From Friday 17th November 2023 until Monday 1st January 2024, you will be able to visit Blenheim Palace and discover all the magical offerings they have.

Christmas Light Trail

The Illuminated Christmas Light Trail is back for 2023! Make your way around the stunning grounds of the Blenheim Estate and enjoy all the twinkling lights, seasonal sounds and keep an eye out for Father Christmas on your way around. This year there are plenty of new lights from heart-shaped arches to glowing tunnels filled with stars and a sphere filled with over 20,000 moving lights! It’s the perfect festive experience to enjoy for all during your time at Blenheim Palace.

The Story of Sleeping Beauty

This year Blenheim Palace will be transforming the rooms inside to retell the fairytale of Sleeping Beauty. Each room has been transformed to tell a different chapter of the Sleeping Beauty story as well as there being plenty of Christmas decorations throughout the palace too. On your way around watch out for the Evil Fairy’s spooky wooded lair, spinning wheels and fluttering fairies. As you make your way around you will be following the Lilac Fairy who is helping True Love to reawaken the castle after 100 years.

The Christmas Market

The Christmas Market is in The Great Court from Friday 17th November to Sunday 17th December this year. With plenty of market stalls lining The Great Court it is the perfect place to go for shoppers and foodies. Whether you are after a spot of Christmas shopping or you are just looking for a browse and a bite to eat there is plenty on offer at the Blenheim Palace Christmas Market.

Christmas Afternoon Tea

This year at The Orangery you will be able to indulge in a Sleeping Beauty themed Afternoon Tea. You can choose from two different afternoon tea’s both consisting of finger sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats as well as there being a Children’s Menu so the whole family can enjoy.
