It was established in 1565 it’s older than Blenheim Palace and offers hotel rooms, private events and food and drink in the restaurant. Offering a huge range of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes including Sunday dinner there is plenty to choose from to suit everyone.
The Punchbowl

The Punchbowl is a family run venue in Woodstock. Owned and run by the Viney Family you can head here to enjoy a range of delicious dishes. They pride themselves on creating all the classic pub meals from fish and chips to pies and even curries. Whatever you are fancying you will find on their menu. They also have a takeaway menu available offering pizzas, burgers and classic that you can takeaway and enjoy in your lodge.
The Killingworth Castle

The restaurant at The Killingworth Castle has won and been nominated for multiple awards. They were ranked as number 45 in the Top 50 Gastropubs in the UK for the Estrella Dam Awards for 2024 making them the highest-ranking pub in Oxfordshire. They have a 3 AA Rosette and Michelin recommended seasonal menu with various dishes to enjoy including beef fillet, tortellini, cauliflower steak and more. They have dog-friendly tables both inside and outside the pub so it’s a great choice all year round.
The Bear

The Bear offers something for everyone whether you are wanting an evening meal, a light bite for lunch or a delicious afternoon tea. Using all the best seasonal ingredients from Scottish beef, British pork to the vegetables and dairy products. They have the restaurant, the Churchill Lounge and The Bar & Courtyard where you can enjoy food and drink. The Feathers Hotel has been newly refurbished and is located just around the corner from the resort. The perfect place for an evening meal, relaxed lunch or a delicious afternoon tea.
