On the 1st December Falmouth will be having a Christmas celebration and switching the town’s lights on, and Santa’s Grotto opens its doors for all to meet the jolly chap, there will be decorating workshops throughout the month as well as lantern making workshops.

The Annual Christmas Tree Festival is a time where the community comes together to decorate trees with a winner being picked at the end of the night, there is also carol singing and the Illumination Brass Band delighting everyone with festive celebrations. The Annual Christmas Tree Festival is a huge hit with the locals and is buzzing every year, nothing says Christmas like decorating a tree, and you get to meet new people while doing it!

Over the month Falmouth town will play host to many a festive performance, including a Christmas Carol Concert, the Falmouth Live Nativity Play and Frozen in Falmouth which is a Disney show for all ages, where Elsa, Anna and others play games and have sing songs! There will also be Christmas movies and plenty of delicious street food at The Moor throughout December to enjoy too.

On 12th December there will be Tanya’s Courage Trust Christmas Fayre, where there will be a vast array of market stalls, fantastic gifts for your loved ones, you can meet Santa in his grotto, as well as live music, mulled wine and mouth watering mince pies.
