The Oxfordshire Museum

Fletcher’s House, Park St, Woodstock, OX20 1SN | 4 min drive from resort

Located in Woodstock in an 18th century house, The Oxfordshire Museum tells the story and history of Oxfordshire through the many galleries and exhibitions that go throughout the museum. As well as learning about the history of the county you can also enjoy the interactive dinosaur gallery which is extremely popular with families. There is also a café at the museum where you can enjoy a drink and bite to eat during your way around.

Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum

Park St, Woodstock, OX20 1SN | 3 min drive from resort

Enjoy learning more about the military at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock. It is located in the gardens in the grounds of The Oxfordshire Museum and Woodstock Library. As you make your way around the museum you can learn about Secret Agents, Winston Churchill, Prisoners of War, A Woman’s War and more. Combe Mill

Combe Mill Blenheim Palace Sawmills, Combe, Witney, OX29 8ET | 10 min drive from resort

Combe Mill is the original sawmill and workshop of the Blenheim Palace Estate and is a Grade II listed building. It is now a working industrial museum where you will be able to get an insight to what it was like working in the Victorian times. As well as the museum there are also various events throughout the year and the Combe Mill Riverside Tea Room that is open every Wednesday serving hot and cold food and drink.

Ditchley Park
