When: 11th – 19th Feb

Visit the Tank Museum at any time of the year to experience the biggest day out in history! With 8 powerful exhibitions to explore, including tank action displays, the story of the tank, the trench experience, the historic change from warhorse to horsepower, as well as vehicle conservation centre! There will be a range of family activities, including an outdoor play area and brand new indoor soft play area for children to let off a little steam too. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at the café, plus there will be family trails to keep everyone absorbed with teasers and puzzles, for a fun half term day out in Dorset.

When: 11th – 19th Feb

Visit Corfe Castle and learn all about the historic castle and the part it played in British history. During half term try out the Teddy Zip Wire Challenge, yes you read that right, a Teddy Zip Wire Challenge! Bring along your brave teddy and try out the fearsome zip wire challenge of the castle, as well as taking part in the Romance and Courtship themed quest around the castle too. Martin Maudsley is a professional storyteller who will be at the castle as part of the Purbeck Literature Festival, so enjoy a fantastic reading from him as well.

When: 11th – 26th Feb

Beaulieu is much more than a motor museum, with interactive activities for the whole family, makes sure to pick up your passbook and travel through each activity station to collect all the stamps! Visit the Handle Historic Objects display and honk the horns, peer through the goggles, early motoring clothing and a close up look of artefacts, photos and documents! Try the bubble balancer, where you can place the weights evenly around the tyre and make it balance. Visit the Beaulieu Abbey to pick up some medieval building tips and learn how to make an arch, as well as balloon car challenges, where you can create your own balloon-powered car and see how fast and far you can race it!
