Halloween at Cheddar Gorge
The Gorge itself is home to some 12 species of bats that you can spot as you travel through, you will also have the opportunity to handle real life creepy crawlies (like big spiders!). The show caves will also be illuminated in an atmospheric way, the live-in ghosts have been woken up and are ready to spook and scare with the best of them! The Gorge encourages everyone to dress up in their favourite Halloween costume to visit and enjoy all the laughs and fun. The younger kids can carve their own jack’o’lanterns, everyone can enjoy the tour and listen to the ghost stories and step back in time at the museum of pre-history and see the replica of Britain’s oldest complete skeleton.
