Thinking of spending Halloween 2015 in Bude? Here is everything you will need to know about scare-ific events!

With fun and food on offer so close Cornwall is a great place for tricks and treats our Sandymouth Holiday Resort is great Autumn getaway for Halloween 2015.

spooktacular children’s party

A fright night feast of fun for the little ones! Sending shivers of delight down your spine with the ghostly games and activities for the kids including the ever-popular Spoon and Eyeball races (that sounds amazing!) Dance your fiendish feet away at the haunted disco, delight with a hot dog and a drink to refuel for more fun! Make sure you dress up in your best Halloween costume as there are prizes for everyone who is in fancy dress! So if you have little ones this is a great place to spend your night and celebrate Halloween in ghoulish style!

pre-halloween celebration

This wonderful and traditional Halloween party is perfect to get the kids in the spooky spirit for Halloween 2015! With a fun children’s disco, UV lighting to make the ghosts pop, a fun-filled bubble machine and fangtastic light show, this is an event not to be missed! Get the children dressed up in the best costumes and enter the fancy dress competition to with a prize! Traditional fun will be had with apple bobbing, face painting, pumpkin carving competitions and a delicious BBQ with other Halloween treats! End the wonderful night with a glorious Chinese floating lantern race across the river, fun for all the family to be had at The Weir this Halloween!

halloween festival

This is the ever popular ‘Fun by Day – Scary by Night’ festival taking place at the brilliant theme park The Big Sheep. They go all out over Halloween and try to scare the socks of you! During the day you can see all the scary fun from the safety of the haunted hayride, enjoy all the rides available, face painting and loads more on offer. Fancy dress with the Pumpkin Princess, the Royal Princess will be giving out spot prizes for the best dressed ghostly ghoul to visit and have a picture! In the day you will see all the spooky goings-on, but there will be no actors or sound effects, meaning that it will be fun for all ages – so even toddlers can join in on the fun. The night is a bit different, you can opt for the less scary ticket where there are only panto actors, rather than the scare actors and enjoy the fun without being scared whitless. Or if you like being scared, then go for the ‘Fright Fest’ tickets (for over 14’s only), this involves a collection of interactive scare experiences that are not for the faint-hearted! When travelling around the park if you see anything that says LIVE HAUNT and do not like to be scared, then give it a wide birth! Otherwise enter the Carn-Evil of Chaos and see if you will leave alive. Or take your chances in the Zombie Zone and experience the zombified experiments, which is followed by a catalogue of errors (obviously), anything could happen to you here, will you escape in time? (I would and I’d be screaming for the hills!) Jump on the Deadly Sinster Haunted Hayride, nine murders have occurred in the forbidden forest (definitely nothing like Harry Potter here…) and everyone is now on high alert for number 10, will it be you? There are also events like the haunted house and the brilliant Ghostbusters pantomime, all this is included in the Scary by Night tickets, so brilliant fun but without the scare actors. Which will you choose for Halloween 2015?

Happy halloweening ghosts and ghouls! Have a fangtastic half term and Halloween!
