Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat is our newest resort to open in Oxfordshire.

Located on the grounds of the Blenheim Estate in Woodstock, we offer one-, two- and three-bedroom self-catering lodges perfect for groups of all sizes. Although that means you will have everything you need to cook delicious meals at the lodge, it’s also nice to enjoy a meal out during your holiday. And since the lodge retreat is right by Blenheim Palace, you won’t be too far away from all sorts of eateries, we’ve listed a few of them below for you.

The Stables Café

Located in the West Courtyard of Blenheim Palace is where you will find The Stables Café. It is the perfect place to go if you are wanting something for breakfast, lunch or something as simple as tea and cake! So whilst you are visiting Blenheim Palace and exploring the grounds make sure you stop off at The Stables Café, they also have art and photography exhibitions from local artists that you can enjoy whilst you’re there.

The Orangery

The Orangery at Blenheim Palace was refurbished in January 2023. Over the years it has been a greenhouse, a conservatory to a theatre, office spaces, an art gallery and now a restaurant. You can head here to enjoy a delicious Sunday lunch or a tempting Afternoon Tea which consists of house-made scones, sweet treats, and dainty sandwiches. It’s the perfect place to head to on a day you are exploring Blenheim Palace and the Estate.

The Back Lane Tavern

If you are looking for a pub, then The Back Lane Tavern will be perfect. A pub, wine bar and small plates restaurant in the centre of Woodstock that has won several awards over the years.
