about Tamar Otter & Wildlife Park

Wander the beautiful grounds and visit the families of British and Asian Short Clawed Otters, who will be having the time of their lives playing and you’ll even see them being hand fed. If you stroll to the large woodland enclosure you’ll spot some of the stunning species roaming around, including fallow deer, wallabies and muntjac deer, who all call the 21 acre grounds home.

Meet the different owl species and the other fabulous birds of prey who call Tamar Otter & Wildlife Park home. Check out the walkway to meet those cheeky meerkats before exploring the Old Quarry, or going a little further to discover the beautiful and tranquil Quarry Pool.

There is also a great gift shop onsite, an award-winning Tea Room, two lakes and various picnic areas available throughout the park for the whole family to enjoy. Tamar Otter & Wildlife Park is completely funded by paying visitors, they receive no other funding, so you’ll be pleased to know that your entrance and extras help to pay for upkeep, improvements and especially otter rehabilitation.
