Having recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, Sandymouth Holiday Resort offers a fabulous Go Active programme, including archery and panna soccer. Along with a great Trim Trail outdoor workout along the nature trail around the park, with breathtaking sights of the ocean, which can also be seen from your luxurious accommodation. Bude carnival

The Bude Carnival dates back to the 1920’s when events included a grand torch-light procession, a masked confetti fete and an exhibition of war trophies. There has been a Bude Carnival ever since, with money collected on the day being donated to local charities and organisations. There is plenty of family fun to be had with carnival floats, fancy dress, live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

You’ll experience the amazing sights and sounds of each planet in the solar safari, take on mind-blowing space puzzles, including radio control at Eden Space Station. Explore the cosmic chemistry and the 360 degrees 3D virtual realistic experience ‘We Are Stars’. There are Relaxed Sessions for children with autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication needs or learning disabilities. These free, pre-booked sessions are ideal for those that benefit from an informal experience, enjoying the journey at your own tempo in a more calm and gentle environment.

 

 

Bude lifeboat week

Annual family fun week of activities to raise money for the wonderful RNLI. The week includes charity table stop sales, quiz nights, live music and entertainment, as well as hot food and drinks available. Search and rescue demonstrations will also be taking place on the Summeleaze Beach, along with a marquee offering cream teas, ales, Cornish gins and live music. A family event for a fabulous cause.
