Take the Canterbury Tales tour and learn the history of the fantastic famous stories through the costumed guides who are filled with knowledge. The quest takes you through the Canterbury Tales tour, and you may even see some spooky characters with their own names and stories to tell. Make it to the end of the quest and claim your prize in the gift shop!

Where: Beach Creative / When: 24th Oct / Times: 10am – 12 & 1pm – 5pm

There are limited places at this popular workshop, so make sure to book your little one in to avoid disappointment. This fantastic creative workshop is ideal for 5 to 11 year olds and features an array of crafts and drawing sessions all with a creeptastic Halloween theme. The Zombie Make-up Workshop offers the chance to go along and be made as frightfully gross as possible by fantastic make-up artists, just in time for the annual Kent Zombie Crawl!

Visit the beautiful and iconic Westgate Gardens in the heart of Canterbury for family fun this Halloween! See how many spooky things you can see on the Scary Scavenger Hunt around the Toddles’ Cove. Take part in the Creepy Crafts for spooky gifts to take home and go along in fancy dress as the scariest dressed will win a prize!

Visit the Wildwood Trust and meet all the adorable animals and during Halloween Half Term you can join in on the amazing activities! Take part in the pumpkin carving competition and join in on the spooky fancy dress, then listen to the interesting Halloween talks and learn all about the animals.


murder mystery evening

Where: Whitstable Castle & Gardens / When: 20th Oct / Times: 7pm – 10pm

Solve a (make believe) murder and indulge in a delicious 3 course meal! Ever wanted to be Sherlock Holmes? (me too!) If you book your ticket you can don your deer stalker cap and go to work solving this puzzling mystery, you’ll even get a glass of Prosecco Royale on arrival to get you going. Strode Park is hosting a family fun event this Halloween, with a spooktacular show performed by the Playtime Theatre Company, the The Dark Castle Show will delight all ages, and there will be a prize for the best fancy dressed too!
