A short 15-minute walk away from the quaint village of Mullion is the historic town of Helston, the former cattle market town which is best known for the Furry Dance, which takes place on the 8th May each year! This is a historic tradition, intended to mark the passing of winter and beginning of spring. Helston is a town which is steeped in history, with a plethora of historic churches and museums.
Even closer to the park is Mullion Cove itself, a working habour which is now owned by the National Trust where you can spend countless hours sightseeing. It is also the perfect location for those who are looking for fishing holidays. The village of Mullion is also close by, and is filled with quaint shops, restaurants and bars.
