1. Introduction
1.1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Win a caravan for a year (the “Competition”) organized by Darwin Escapes / Darwin Contract Management Ltd (“Organizer”).
1.2. By entering the Competition, participants (“Entrants”) agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms and conditions outlined in related materials.
1.3. *A year relates to a full caravan season, which is 10 1/2 months. From 1st March 2025 to 10th January 2026.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Entrants must be a UK resident.
2.2. Employees of Darwin Escapes / Darwin Contract Management Ltd and affiliate companies, and their immediate families, as well as any associated companies, are not eligible to participate.
2.3. Current owners at any “Darwin Escapes” location are not eligible to participate.
3. Entry Period
3.1. The Competition begins on 19/07/2024 and ends on 31/10/2024 (“Entry Period”).
3.2. Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be considered.
4. Entry Requirements
4.1. To enter the Competition, participants must answer the question correctly, fill in their details on the form to agree to sign up to a marketing newsletter and agree to be contacted by the Darwin Escapes sales team.
4.3. Only one entry per person is allowed.
5. Judging Criteria
5.1. Entries will be judged by getting the question correct and agreeing to sign up to be contacted by Darwin Escapes’ marketing and sales teams.
5.2. Winner will be chosen by random selection from all qualified entries.
5.2. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prizes
6.1. The prizes for the Competition are:
6.1.1. 1 (one) year site fees included
6.1.2. 1 (one) year insurance included
6.1.3. 1 (one) year water rates included
6.1.4. Caravan ownership for 10 ½ months from 1st March 2025 to 10th January 2026
6.1.5. Full access to all facilities at New Pines Holiday Home Park
6.2. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is not available.
7. Winner Notification
7.1. Winners will be notified by email within 5 days of the closing date.
7.2. If a winner does not respond within 3 days of notification, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. Publicity
8.1. By entering the Competition, Entrants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. Entrants retain ownership of their entries but grant the Organizer a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, display, and publish the entry in any media.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. The Organizer is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, or unauthorized human intervention in the Competition.
10.2. The Organizer’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Competition shall not exceed the value of the prize.
11. Privacy
11.1. Personal data collected from Entrants will be used in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at privacy policy.
12. General
12.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these Terms without notice.
12.2. The Competition and these Terms will be governed by UK law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of UK.
12.3. The Prize is not applicable at any other Darwin Escapes location.
12.4. Winner will be expected to pay for the gas and electricity used during the 10 ½ months period of use.
12.5. Subletting (renting out) for financial gain or otherwise will not be permitted. And if found to be doing so, contract will be terminated.
12.6. Caravan must be returned in the same condition as given.
