One of our most asked questions is “how long will my holiday home last?”
As long as you follow the recommended maintenance of your holiday home, then it can (in theory of course) last a lifetime. The maintenance of your holiday home is actually super simple, it includes things like keeping the gutters clear and in working order.
Your level of warranty will vary depending on the manufacturer, but it will most likely involve the below:
- 12 month warranty on new purchases
- 10 year Gold-Shield extended warranty on lodge purchases
- Assistance from our dedicated on-site team
gold-shield extended warranty on holiday lodges
This level of warranty provides benefits between the 3rd and 10th year of ownership, but please note the level of cover will be dependent on the manufacturer of your holiday home.
The cover will protect your holiday home from inherent defects in the structure of your holiday home, possibly including anything from a recurring fault to something that may not have been apparent at the time of purchasing.
It will also, typically, cover the repair of the below:
- Wall frames
- Chassis
- Flooring
- Timber joints
- Exterior decking
- Roof insulation
- Ceiling
- UPVC windows and doors.
