Do you have a question about Beach Cove Coastal Retreat that needs answering? You can find a selection of answers to the most frequently asked questions below.

General Questions

Check-ins are available from 16:00.

If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01271 863 006 to let them know.

Check-out time is at 10:00 am on the day of your departure. We kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.

Please note, we are now only accepting card payments.

Yes we have a few pet friendly beach hut inspired lodges one of which is a premier lodge with a hot tub (please note neither of these lodges are one of the sea view lodges).

Due to the nature of our units we can only accept one pet per property.

Please note, dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted at our resorts, please read our FAQ section titled “what is your dog policy?” for more detailed information.

We’re perfectly placed for you to explore the area in your own time.

Yes, we are open 12 months of the year, including Christmas and New Year.

Yes, please follow the same strict rules you would outside the park. We strongly advise that, for your protection, if you or any member of your family or guests use or ride bicycles, skateboards, scooters or heelies; please wear helmets and reflective clothing.

We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure our resorts can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike. We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non-pet unit without the prior permission of the General Manager. (Please add your pet onto your booking form so you are allocated the correct unit).

  1. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times. while on the resort.
  2. All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.
  3. In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted  anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero, XL Bully, as well as any other breed at the General Manager’s discretion.
  4. You, as the holiday guest or holiday home owner, are responsible for the behaviour of your party’s dog. Should you have a dog behaving badly, inappropriately or affecting the comfort of other guests, we may ask that you remove the dog from area. Should we have any safety concerns of others, or that your dog may not be under control, we may ask you and your party to leave the resort.

Resort Questions

Some units have parking next to them, for others there is just a short walk from the car park. If you would like more information please contact Hoseasons about your booking.

Children are welcome but we are restricted as the property’s are only one bedroom, however, all three of the apartments can fit a travel cot/mosses basket for smaller children.

It is a 2 minute walk from each beach hut to the beach.

Yes, it is and guests should use the postcode EX34 9QZ, you can then put your lodge number and the park name in the delivery notes.

Certainly. We just ask that precautions are taken to avoid any damage.

Bed linen, duvets and towels are included in all of the accommodation here at Beach Cove Coastal Retreat and beds will be made for your arrival. There will also be a selection of complimentary toiletries for you to use on your break.

Unfortunately we don’t at the moment. Please ask at reception to find out where the closest ones are.

No, the distribution of power to the units cannot sustain prolonged high usage.
