There is a lovely pub with amazing food less than a minutes walk from the front gates and a little further on are a few more restaurants but the main town is a few minutes drive away in Ilfracombe centre (please note that there is an abundance of taxis available in the local area).
Please follow the same strict rules you would outside the park. We strongly advise that, for your protection, if you or any member of your family or guests use or ride bicycles, skateboards, scooters or heelies; please wear helmets and reflective clothing.
The park’s redevelopment began in July 2013 transforming it into a luxury 5 star resort with one bedroom, beach hut style lodges and 3 luxury apartments. Our premier accommodation boasts private hot tubs.

Yes we have a few pet friendly beach hut inspired lodges one of which is a premier lodge with a hot tub (please note neither of these lodges are one of the sea view lodges). Due to the nature of our units we can only accept one pet per property.
Certainly. We just ask that precautions are taken to avoid any damage. Please collect a stand from reception and dispose of your barbecue safely. Disposable BBQs are available to purchase from reception.
Children are welcome but we are restricted as the property’s are only one bedroom, however, all three of the apartments can fit a travel cot/mosses basket for smaller children.
Yes, some units have parking next to them, for others there is just a short walk from the car park.
You may find that some amenities in your holiday accommodation have been removed to ensure a safe stay for all.
Bed linen, duvets and towels are included in all of the accommodation here at Beach Cove Coastal Retreat and beds will be made for your arrival. Bathrobes (in Premiers and The Pad only) are included in units with hot tubs. There will also be a selection of complimentary toiletries for you to use on your break.
Upon check in you will be given emergency contact details for any ‘out of hours’ requirements.
We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure the park can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike.
We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non pet unit without the prior permission of the Park Manager. (This can be achieved by including your pet on your booking form to ensure you are allocated a pet-friendly unit).
- Where allowed, all pets must at all times be kept under proper control and must not enter any facility building. (excluding guide dogs)
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (unless in the dedicated dog areas) and prevented from fouling.
- All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.
- In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero as well as any other breed at the Park Manager’s discretion.
