Wareham Forest Lodge Retreat
Poole, Dorset
Wareham Forest Lodge Retreat is the perfect location for Poole Holidays. It is located in a great position, giving you access to this idyllic coastal town while also providing you with the opportunity to enjoy the glorious Dorset countryside.
What sets this resort apart from others in the region is our Wareham accommodation units, with a range of holiday lodges available to hire some of which even have their own private hot tub facilities.
The facilities available on the resort itself are limited because the main focus in the design has been to create a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We have purposefully designed the resort so that you are able to soak up the atmosphere in a peaceful destination. However, the resort is located within easy reach of a plethora of visitor attractions and restaurants, including of course those in Poole
things to do in Dorset
Dorset is a glorious region that has plenty to offer with countless beach and coastal walks which offer stunning views available right on the doorstep of both holiday parks on the gorgeous Jurassic Coast which stretches for over 90 miles along the coastline. This is one, of only a handful of World Heritage Sites in England, putting it alongside the likes of Stonehenge.
Another beautiful natural wonder is Brownsea Island which has a large range of exotic birds and wildlife including the increasingly rare red squirrels. You can keep the kids entertained here with the natural outdoor play area and tree climbing activity zone.
We also of course highly recommend visiting Poole during your stay in the area regardless of which park you are staying at. Here you will find a thriving commerce area made up of leading brands and local gift shops. Poole also has a number of high-quality bars and restaurants so you can really make a day of it.
Poole also has its very own operational harbour where you will find the headquarters of the legendary Sunseeker yacht company, who can count the likes of Simon Cowell and Jenson Button among their customers. This really is worth a visit if you’re in the area to catch a glimpse of their multi-million-pound masterpieces.
This is just a small selection of the many attractions which are in this thriving area. With so much to do and see you are unlikely to ever get bored if you stay at a Darwin Escapes resort during your next holiday in Dorset.
