self catering holidays in Kent UK

Canterbury Reach Lodge Retreat

What sets Canterbury Reach Lodge Retreat apart from the competition is the quality of the accommodation. We’ve worked with leading lodge manufacturers to produce these beautiful units which are the perfect accommodation for self-catering holidays in Kent.

The lodges are fitted with modern kitchen facilities which are fitted out with all the equipment and utensils you will need. In fact, they may well put your own kitchen facilities to shame. All you will need to do get your own food supplies.

You will also find a spacious dining area in the open plan living space where meals can be enjoyed in a warm and beautifully decorated environment. Also to be found in this area is a big-screen TV and a range of other entertainment features. Don’t forget that all holidaymakers will be provided with complimentary Wi-Fi access.

The bedrooms are also well equipped with each room featuring its own TV so you aren’t all forced to watch the same programming. In addition to this, the beds themselves simply have to be experienced. You are sure to have a great night’s sleep in our perfect accommodation.

If you are planning on bringing your pets along with you on holiday, then fear not because we have a number of pet-friendly lodges available for hire at the resort. Kent is a great location for anyone with pets thanks to the plethora of glorious walking routes and pet-friendly visitor attractions.

things to do in Kent

There are plenty of things to do in the area around our resort for all ages. Canterbury itself is of course home to the world-famous Canterbury Cathedral which dates back to 597 AD.

We highly recommend visiting the cathedral itself during your break in the region and taking advantage of the informative audio guides. You can take in many of the other attractions in the city when you jump on one of the guided tours which are available from the Buttermarket.

History buffs are also in for a treat when they visit the 12th century Dover Castle. This castle has been of extreme military importance to the UK since its construction and last played its part in battle during World War Two when it was used as a base for the Dunkirk missions.

If you’d prefer to do a bit of shopping, then you are also in luck thanks to the nearby Whitefriars Shopping Centre where you will find a mix of high street chains, locally ran stores and high-quality eating and drinking establishments. A shopaholics paradise.
