The KP Resort is located in the beautiful village of Pocklington in East Yorkshire. It is the ideal location for an impulsive last minute weekend break in Yorkshire; providing you with a luxury retreat where you can take it easy and spend your time rejuvenating as you unwind in your luxurious accommodation and take advantage of the fabulous Glasshouse Restaurant. You can also make the most of the fantastic fitness facilities available at The Box health and fitness studio.

The Glasshouse Restaurant boasts stunning views of the Vale of York and serves a range of drinks, cakes, lunches and evening meals. The evening menu includes culinary delights including Teriyaki Salmon and a range of steaks mouth-watering from the grill. The KP Resort is also famous for its 18 hole championship golf course, great for unwinding during the day, before enjoying a chilled drink afterwards. Please note that use of the golf course must be booked in advanced due to its popularity with both holiday makers and those in the local area.

Many of our guests use The KP Resort as their base as they explore the nearby city of York. York is just over 15 miles away from our stunning resort and easily reachable by car or via public transport. The historic walled city boasts landmarks such as York Minster, York Castle, Castle Howard and of course the actual walls of the city themselves.

There are also a number of museums to be explored, including the National Rail Museum, which is part of the British Science Museum Group, and is located conveniently close to the York Railway station. There are a range of events and festivals held in York throughout the year, including a number of food festivals, Roman-themed festivals and of course an eclectic variety of music festivals.
