The Lake District is one of the most popular parts of the UK when it comes to tourism thanks largely to its stunning countryside setting and wide range of visitor attractions. We now have two lodge holiday resorts in the region including the brand new Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat which is conveniently located close to some of the area’s top walking destinations including the beautiful Derwent Water which was recently used as the backdrop to scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Our lodges at Thanet Well Lodge Retreat near Greystoke are up to a very similar standard as you would expect at a Darwin Escapes resort. However, what sets this resort apart is the setting – with our lodges purposefully positioned to provide occupants with stunning uninterrupted views of the surrounding Cumbrian countryside. An idyllic setting that is perfect for those on the lookout for a relaxing break.

If you would prefer a city-based location, then Bath Mill Lodge Retreat is the right option for you. The resort is located just a short trip outside of Bath city centre in the midst of the Somerset countryside and hence offers the perfect alternative to an inner-city hotel which is both crowded and noisy.
When you stay in one of the lodges at Bath Mill you can gain easy access to the many visitor attractions that Bath itself has to offer, while also being able to take advantage of the wonderful Somerset countryside in a peaceful setting. This resort really offers you the chance to experience the best of both worlds.
Our Kilnwick Percy Resort is also an ideal location for a City Break. It’s just a short drive from York City Centre which has a range of exciting things to see and do from bars and restaurants to theatres and historical buildings and monuments.
The KP Resort is actually surrounded by beautiful countryside views and wonderful walkways through the Yorkshire Wolds offering the best of both worlds for those not keen on sleeping in a busy city centre location.

We also offer fantastic lodge holidays on the Isle of Wight at our two resorts which are located in close proximity to one another on the north shores of the island. These resorts are close enough together for the guests to be able to share the facilities which include a spa lodge, the fantastic Kellermans Restaurant and also access to a private shingle beach which is a great destination for scenic walks.
The lodges at both of these resorts are completed to the highest standards, with full self catering facilities and entertainment luxuries in beautiful decorated by comfortable surroundings. The only difference between the lodges at these resorts is the setting, with Woodside Coastal naturally offering outstanding views overlooking the English Chanel and Woodside Bay being located in the midst of the tranquil Isle of Wight countryside surrounded by woodlands.
