affordable last minute holidays in Norfolk with Darwin Escapes
If you’re looking for some last minute holidays in Norfolk, then you’ve come to the right place!
Darwin Escapes’ brand new Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa is located near Kings Lynn and offers an idyllic retreat for pet friendly holidays, woodland walks or trips to the East Anglican coast.
Our Norfolk Woods lodge resort is also just under an hour’s drive from the city of Norwich, perfect for those who love to explore the city and take part in the range of activities on offer but also retreat back to the countryside for a relaxing break.
We’ll ensure your stay with us is comfortable, with our luxurious lodge accommodation, first class facilities including spa, gym and Bistro which serves a range of tasty meals so if you don’t fancy using the self-catering facilities in your lodge you can pop just round the corner and enjoy a first class meal.
find your perfect accommodation
Don’t be too disheartened if there are no last minute deals showing, keep checking back as we are constantly updating our last minute availability.
The same goes if there are last minute offers available on our lodges, but they aren’t exactly what you had in mind. We aim to facilitate a wide range of needs from our customers, which is why our Norfolk lodge offering is so varied.
You can choose anything from our one bedroom lodges which are ideal for short breaks, to the spacious and luxurious 5 bedroom lodges which are a great option if you are looking for group accommodation in Norfolk for a fun stay with friends and/or family.
Our holiday lodges also differ when it comes to the facilities they afford, with our most sought after top of the range premier lodges coming with their own private outdoor hot tubs. You will rarely see a last minute offer available on such lodges due to their popularity. If you do happen to find one showing in the above feed of offers, we’d recommend snapping it up quickly so as to avoid disappointment.
Although Norfolk Woods is a pet friendly holiday park, unfortunately not all of our lodges are. We’d therefore recommend making sure that the lodge you are booking is highlighted as being a pet friendly option if you are planning on bringing your four legged friend with you to make the most of the East Anglian coastline.
brand new facilities
Norfolk Woods is the latest addition to the ever growing portfolio of luxury holiday resorts being opened by Darwin Escapes across the UK.
A significant investment has been made to turn this former camp site into the go to destination of luxury hot tub breaks in the Norfolk region. Not only do the lodges fulfill your every home from home need, with full self catering facilities and entertainment features such as Freeview TVs; but the park itself also affords holiday guests with access to some of the best holiday park facilities which are you likely to find in the area.
These facilities are made up of a heated indoor swimming pool, fully equipped air conditioned gymnasium, sauna, steam room and much more. You could ever opt to take the feeling of luxury one step further by booking yourself into our on-site spa, or if you aren’t too confident in your abilities to adequately utilise the self catering features in your accommodation, then you may prefer to sample one of the most culinary treats which are on offer from our very own Bistro.
As if these facilities weren’t enough to keep you occupied, the close partnership we enjoy with Hoseasons means that we are able to offer you access to an extensive Go Active programme throughout the duration of your time at Norfolk Woods.
things to see and do
There is also plenty for you to see and do in the surrounding area when you are staying at Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa, with our holiday park being ideally situated less than an hour away from Norwich which is a popular shopping haunt with its many shopping districts as well as being a Mecca for history buffs thanks to the presence of a variety of different museums and historic buildings such as the awe-inspiring St John the Baptist Cathedral.
Those looking for something slightly closer to the park would be wise to take the short 20 minute trip to see the market town of Kings Lynn. The town is perhaps at its most vibrant on Saturday and Tuesday when the two weekly markets take place, the latter of which is located in what is generally regarded as being one of England’s grandest squares. There are also plenty of beautiful gardens just waiting to be explored here for those who prefer a little bit of peace and quiet.
