welsh mountain zoo

Starting life as a family-run business in the early 60’s, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is one of the oldest and most established zoos in Wales. As you walk around the zoo, take in the picturesque views of Colwyn Bay, and meet all the friendly animals, from the rescue bears, lemurs and monkeys, to the comedic penguins on their daily walk around the zoo.

bodnant gardens

The National Trust’s world famous gardens are right on your doorstep, at over 150 years old Bodnant Gardens is waiting to be explored. Wander the secret woodland and let your imagination run wild, enjoy the perfectly kept lawns and seek out the hidden corners. Take in the lush natural scenery around you, and marvel at the stunning Snowdonia Mountain Range backdrop.

Rhuddlan castle

Part of King Edward I’s castle building, he diverted the River Clwyd so Rhuddlan Castle would still have a supply chain if it faced trouble on land. Over seven centuries later, Rhuddlan Castle is a sight to be seen! It was the first to use the new concentric design, as well as installing an impressive diamond-shaped stronghold. This beautiful castle by the river is waiting for you to discover all its secrets!
