Becoming a holiday home owner in the Lake District is only five simple steps away. You could be enjoying endless holidays in your home from home before you know it! Read our step by step process below or click to watch our video.

  1. Choose your location. You’ve already done this bit! And what a stunningly peaceful location you’ve chosen.
  2. Are you ready to book your tour? Visit us in person, take a walk around our retreat and talk to a member of our team on your park tour. 
  3. Then it’s time to choose your holiday home from our selection for sale. You may have spotted your lodge online, or you may wait until your park tour to see it in person. Once you have walked the retreat on your park tour, you’ll sit with our team and they will answer any of your questions, and talk to you about our finance options if you wanted to. 
  4. Next you’ll find a plot for you. If your lodge isn’t already located on a plot, you may be able to choose one. And here is where you’ll talk about the annual and running costs of your holiday home and the plot.
  5. It’s time to move in! It really is that easy. Those five simple steps and you could be moving in and enjoying endless holidays in the Lake District within a matter of weeks.

Yes, here at Thanet Well we have a 12 month open season. This means you can enjoy summer time hikes and cosy Christmas evenings in your holiday home.

No, there is no limit to how often you can stay and visit your holiday home. Please note, we are a non-residential holiday home company and you cannot live in your holiday home at Thanet Well.

If you choose it to be, yes! Your holiday home is your second home and can be as pet friendly as your primary residence.
