General Questions

Hotel Suites & Alder Lodges check in times are from 3pm, and check out is 11am on the day of departure.

Hawthorn & Millpond Lodges check in times are from 4pm, and check out is 10am on the day of departure.

If you are likely to arrive after 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01491 827300 to let them know.

The Alder Lodge is located a short walk away from the main building. The hotel rooms are located in the building with the facilities.

The Alder Lodge extra privacy being away from the main building and offering a small outdoor seating area. Please note the amenities in each room are different, the Alder Lodges do not include a full length mirror, fridge, bath etc. They offer a more basic style of accommodation.

Yes, our resort has pet-friendly accommodation. If you are a holiday guests, please ensure you have included your pet on your booking.

Please note, dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted at our resorts, please read our FAQ section titled “what is your dog policy?” for more detailed information.

Please follow the same strict rules you would outside the park. We strongly advise that, for your protection, if you or any member of your family or guests use or ride bicycles, skateboards, scooters or heelies; please wear helmets and reflective clothing.

We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure our resorts can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike. We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non-pet unit without the prior permission of the General Manager. (Please add your pet onto your booking form so you are allocated the correct unit).

  1. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times. while on the resort.
  2. All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.
  3. In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted  anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero, XL Bully, as well as any other breed at the General Manager’s discretion.
  4. You, as the holiday guest or holiday home owner, are responsible for the behaviour of your party’s dog. Should you have a dog behaving badly, inappropriately or affecting the comfort of other guests, we may ask that you remove the dog from area. Should we have any safety concerns of others, or that your dog may not be under control, we may ask you and your party to leave the resort.

Yes, we have electric car charging ports on our resort.

No, the distribution of power to the units cannot sustain prolonged high usage.

Resort Questions

For our hotel guests, please use the main car park outside reception. For Hawthorn lodge guests, your parking will be outside your lodge, and for Millpond & Alder Lodge guests, you will have parking nearby to your lodge but not directly outside.

 

Only our Millpond Premier Lodges have hot tubs.

Bed linen, duvets and towels are included in all of the accommodation. There will also be a selection of complimentary toiletries for you to use on your break.

Beds will be made for your arrival.

Please note, bathrobes are included in hot tub units only.

Oxford city centre is roughly a 30 minute drive from the resort.

No, unfortunately, no BBQs are permitted at our resort.

Yes, towels are provided. If you have booked a premier lodge with hot tub, you will also have a robe per person.

Yes, our self-catering lodges will have a fridge/freezer.
