This same focus and attention to detail has been applied to Woodside Coastal Retreat, from our outstanding natural surroundings and our outstanding lodge accommodation on offer. All lodges are fully equipped for self-catering, with modern kitchen facilities featuring everything you need (except for the food supplies and the cooking skills – you’ll have to bring those!). We’ve also kept your entertainment in mind for that all-important downtime, so our lodges are all fitted with flat screen TVs, Freeview channels, fast and free Wi-Fi access* and much more.

Some of our top of the range premier lodges even feature their own private hot tub facilities so you can make the most of the tranquility afforded at this resort and also enjoy the gorgeous coastal views. It really is the perfect setting for escaping from the pressures of everyday life and fully de-stressing.

Pet owners are also accommodated for, with a number of pet-friendly lodges available for hire. Woodside Coastal can serve as the perfect base from where you can explore Cowes and the remainder of this gorgeous region – with your furry friend in tow!

Any of our guests staying at Woodside Coastal are more than welcome to take advantage of the equally luxurious facilities which are on offer at our sister park, Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat,  located just up the road.

Facilities here include an air-conditioned gymnasium which is equipped with a variety of training equipment. If you fancy it, you can work up an appetite to visit our excellent Bistro Restaurant, which is run by our expert team! The Bistro serves both traditional British and international classic dishes – you’re sure to find something to your tastes, and all our food is prepared to the highest standards.

What’s on in Cowes?

Cowes is a wonderful seaport town on the north shores of the Isle of Wight. It is perhaps most famous for its annual ‘Cowes Week’ which is one of the longest running sporting events in the UK – first taking place in 1826! It is one of the world’s largest sailing regattas regularly featuring over 1,000 vessels in 40 different races. A must-see event which takes place in August of each year, Woodside Coastal is the perfect base from which to enjoy this spectacle.

However, Cowes isn’t just a great place to visit in August. There is plenty to do at other points in the year, and our holiday lodges are fully-equipped for any month in which you make your visit- air-conditioned and centrally heated with strong double glazing, our lodges are perfect at any time of the year.

Other key attractions in or near the town include the Sir Max Aitken Museum where many of nautical artefacts relating to the island’s history are showcased, as well as The Wight Military and Heritage Museum. These are just a few of the many attractions on offer in this wonderful region – a must-visit for all ages!
