Callaway Golf have today announced their new family of Apex Irons and Apex Hybrids. These irons provide exceptional forged performance and A.I.-designed ball speed technologies for a wide range of players. The hybrids feature new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades for fast ball speeds in versatile, high performance offerings.

“Apex is synonymous with legendary performance and we’ve created a truly special offering with our new 2021 lineup,” said Callaway Sr. VP of R&D, Dr. Alan Hocknell. “Now we’ve implemented A.I.-designed ball speeds, enhanced launch characteristics, and reliable forgiveness to advance this iconic name. There’s nothing like our best, and that’s Apex.”

New Apex 21 Irons

Callaway Apex Irons

Apex is widely recognised for establishing the forged distance category, and the Apex 21 Irons deliver an exceptional level of performance and craftsmanship. They’re the first forged Apex irons with an A.I-designed Flash Face Cup, for high ball speeds and increased spin robustness across the face. Increased forgiveness comes from a massive Tungsten Energy Core, while the 100% forged body and propriety urethane microspheres deliver remarkable sound and feel at impact. Callaway has also enhanced the shaping for even better turf interaction.

Apex DCB Irons

Callaway Apex DCB Irons

In the game-improvement category, new Apex DCB Irons extend the forged Apex offering to a wider group of golfers than ever before. They combine the look, feel and performance of a forged players club with the forgiveness of a deep cavity back. The deep cavity back design and enhanced sole width promote easy launch and solid turf interaction out of a variety of lies. The irons are engineered with an A.I.-designed Flash Face Cup, up to 50 grams of tungsten per iron for outstanding launch and forgiveness on off-centre hits, and forged feel.

Apex Pro Irons

In the players category, new Apex Pro 21 Irons promote Tour distance and performance for scratch or single-digit handicap golfers. They also utilise an A.I.-designed Flash Face in each iron for high COR’s and fast ball speeds, along with extremely soft feel from an all-new forged 1025 hollow body construction and urethane microspheres. There are up to 90 grams of tungsten in the longer irons, the most ever for any Apex model, to improve launch characteristics while simultaneously improving forgiveness.

Apex Hybrids

Callaway Apex Hybrid

The Apex 21 Hybrids are suited to help a wide range of players. They feature new Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades designed to increase vertical stiffness near the sole of the club, promoting more speed low on the face where players often mishit their hybrids. The blades allow the Face Cup to flex on the crown to create better spin rate consistency, and the bars are spread to enhance torsional stiffness, to provide more forgiveness across the face.

Every model and every face in the Apex Hybrids are uniquely designed using advanced A.I. This proven ball speed technology puts an even greater emphasis on centre and off-centre ball speeds. To create high launch and forgiveness. Callaway has implemented a massive amount of tungsten, and the adjustable hosel helps to optimise loft, trajectory and control.

Apex Pro Hybrids also incorporate Jailbreak A.I. Velocity Blades and an A.I-designed Flash Face. The Forged 455 steel provides strength and flexibility, while the iron-like design and fixed hosel create a look at address that highly skilled players prefer.

The new irons & hybrids will be available at retail from February 11, 2021. To book your fitting (dependant on Covid restrictions), please contact the team at The Springs GC or Kilnwick Percy GC.

Today, Ping has revealed its brand new G425 family, as they further advance their commitment to bring golfers to lower scores and more enjoyment on the golf course.

The new Ping G425 family features drivers, fairways, hybrids, irons and a new crossover club.

Message from PING President, John K. Solheim

“We’re very excited to bring PING’s next generation of score-lowering custom fit, custom built equipment to golfers. Our engineering teams have made significant performance improvements in the G425 family, which we are confident will appeal to long-time, loyal PING players, while attracting other golfers looking to play better and enjoy the game more, including those brand new to the game. As is our engineering philosophy, we don’t introduce a new product unless it’s measurably better than its predecessor. The G425 family exceeds that standard in both performance and appearance.”

“The Tour response to the G425 driver has been exceptional. It started with a win its first week on the European Tour in the hands of Tyrrell Hatton at the BMW PGA Championship and has continued with wins around the world ever since. Viktor Hovland claimed the Mayakoba Golf Classic in early December with the G425 LST and one week later the U.S. Women’s Open Champion also relied on the new driver. In all, the G425 driver already has six wins to its name, helping earn titles on all the major tours around the world. The players are instantly attracted to the clean, premium look of the clubs and even more impressed with the performance.”

G425 Driver

ping-g425-drivers

In the G425 driver series, the primary model is named Max as it elevates the moment of inertia (MOI) to PING’s highest level in history and provides golfers the most forgiving driver in golf. Joining the G425 Max are the LST (Low Spin Technology) and SFT (Straight Flight Technology) to best match a golfer’s swing and launch conditions.

To achieve the new performance levels in the G425 Max (9º, 10.5º, 12º lofts), PING engineers combined key technologies from the G400 Max and G410 Plus. The resulting increase in MOI in the 460cc head comes mainly from a 26-gram tungsten movable weight, which is made possible by weight savings attributed to advancements in the driver’s dragonfly crown technology. The weight can be positioned at distinctive settings over a smaller area than G410 Plus/LST to help shift the centre of gravity lower and further back, without sacrificing performance elsewhere in the design. The CG-shifting weight can be secured in one of three settings — neutral, draw or fade — to influence forgiveness and shot shape for maximum performance. The average MOI increase is 14% across the three weight positions compared to the G410 Plus, with three combinations of weight position and loft exceeding a combined MOI of 10,000 (gm-cm²).

The LST model (9º, 10.5º lofts) is designed with a pear-shaped head and measures 445cc to deliver spin reductions of approximately 200 rpm compared to the G410 LST and 500-700 rpm versus the G425 Max. The smaller head size of the LST employs a 17-gram CG shifter with three settings (Draw, Neutral, Fade) to fit the launch conditions best suited to the golfer’s swing and desired ball flight.

For golfers who commonly miss their tee shots to the right, the 460cc SFT version (10.5º loft) is engineered with draw bias to help bring shots back on-line and into the fairway. It features a fixed 23-gram tungsten back weight that shifts the CG closer to the heel to promote a right-to-left shot bend of approximately 25 yards compared to the G425 Max model. A lighter swingweight (D1) also helps influence the ball flight correction.

To help contribute to increases in swing speed and ball speed, all three models share proven PING driver innovations, including turbulators for reduced aerodynamic drag and the proprietary T9S+ forged face to accelerate face flexing for more distance. An internal rib structure in the Ti-8-1-1 body improves acoustics for a solid and pleasing sound. Each model also features the lightweight, 8-position hosel for loft (+-1.5º) and lie (up to 3º flatter) adjustments to further dial in ball flight.

G425 Fairway Woods and Hybrids

ping-g425-fwy-hybrids

In the G425 fairway woods and hybrids, two shared PING innovations, known as Facewrap Technology and Spinsistency, combine to deliver more distance and spin predictability, while offering numerous options to ensure proper gapping throughout a golfer’s bag.

With the Facewrap design, a thin, high-strength maraging steel face extends into the crown and sole to provide increased flexing for faster ball speeds that result in greater distance and high launching shots.

To bring more consistent spin performance, the faces of the fairway woods and hybrids are engineered with a complex face curvature that modifies the roll profile, mainly low on the face where the loft decreases approximately 2.5º to normalise spin and increase ball speed for more distance. Both player and PING Man robot testing revealed greatly improved distance results from Spinsistency, specifically low on the face, the most common miss-hit for fairway woods and hybrids.

A tungsten sole weight strategically positioned in each club increases the MOI in the stainless steel heads for added forgiveness. On the crown, a new 3-dot alignment feature provides golfers a visual cue to address the ball to best match their eye.

The fairway woods are offered in Max 3W (14.5º), 5W (17.5º) 7W (20.5º), 9W (23.5º), LST (Low Spin) 3W (14.5º) and SFT (Straight Flight) 3W (16º), 5W (19º) and 7W (22)º options. The hybrids are available in 2 (17º), 3 (19º), 4 (22º), 5 (26º), 6 (30º) and 7 (34º).

Both the fairway woods and hybrids are engineered with the lightweight, 8-position hosel for loft (+-1.5º) and lie (up to 3º flatter) adjustments to further dial in ball flight.

G425 Irons

ping-g425-irons

In a departure from recent iron models, PING’s experts re-engineered the face of the G425 iron by employing a metal-wood-style, variable face thickness (VFT) design. This greatly increases flexing for measurable ball speed gains that launch shots higher and further with the stopping power to hold greens – a rare result with most of today’s distance-minded irons.

In the process of creating the new face design, they developed a more compact head that sets a new standard for forgiveness for an iron its size. While shorter heel-to-toe than the G410 model, it boasts a 3% higher MOI due to mass savings from the new face geometry that have been re-allocated to the toe and hosel weights, which expands the perimeter weighting and greatly tightens dispersion.

Extensive finite element analysis was used to help develop a multi-material cavity badge that covers more of the face to damp undesirable frequencies and ensure a superb feel and pleasing sound.

The G425 irons feature a performance-improving, water-repelling hydropearl chrome finish and are available in 4-9, PW, UW, SW and LW in Standard, Power Spec and Retro Spec lofts. The grooves in the PW, UW, SW and LW are precision-milled to ensure control and touch into and around the green.

G425 Crossover

ping-g425-crossover

On the tee or off the ground, the G425 crossover is engineered to bring golfers gap-filling, long-iron-type performance by delivering more distance and green-finding forgiveness. The thinner face and internal geometry deliver the ball speeds to hit high-flying shots that land softly and closer to the hole. Forgiveness is supplied by the toe and hosel weights that expand the perimeter weighting to increase the MOI. It is further distinguished by its functional and resilient stealth hydropearl finish that helps repel moisture and improve performance from all conditions. Available in 2 (18º), 3 (20º) and 4 (22.5º).

Arccos Caddie Smart Grip Programme.

The Arccos Caddie Smart Grip (Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet), in one of four sizes (Red -1/32”, Aqua -1/64”, White/Std, and Gold +1/32”), is the standard grip on all G425 clubs. Golfers who purchase a set of six or more G425 irons in one transaction are entitled to eight free Arccos Screw-In sensors and a 90-day free trial of the Arccos Caddie App. Golfers who purchase one or more G425 driver, fairway wood, hybrid, iron (up to five) or Crossover are eligible for 14 free Arccos Screw-In sensors and the 90-day app free trial for a $19.99 shipping and handling fee.

Cobra Golf have today announced a new line of clubs… the RADSPEED.

The name was inspired by its key, innovative technology, Radial Weighting, with a goal of maximising performance for the full range of golfers through optimised weighting and an array of advanced technologies. The range consists of a new family of RADSPEED Drivers, Fairways and Hybrids as well as RADSPEED Irons.

The design concept originated from a popular formula in engineering called Radius of Gyration, which is the distance from the club’s centre of gravity to each weight or technology location.

The entire RADSPEED range is also equipped with the highly rated COBRA CONNECT, meaning yuo can delve deeper into the analytics of your game.

RADSPEED DRIVERS

“Our new RADSPEED drivers represent a true breakthrough in performance,” said Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D, COBRA Golf. “Our engineers have outdone themselves by pushing the Radius of Gyration to new levels and delivering three distinct drivers aimed at three different types of golfers. With the RADSPEED driver family, COBRA can truly offer optimised performance for everyone from Tour players to weekend warriors and those who need help correcting a slice.”

COBRA-RADSPEED-DRIVERS

The RADSPEED DRIVER is designer for faster swingers who want distance through faster ball speeds, low spin and trajectory control. With a 460cc traditional shape, and forward-biased Radial Weighting to appeal to the better player seeking low spin, low launch and workability. Using a lighter T-Bar Speed Chassis and a thinner Carbon Fiber Wrap Crown, engineers were able to save 13g of weight that they could reposition forward to lower the CG and produce more speed. Two adjustable weights in the front and back allow players to fine-tune their desired launch and spin performance. The new RADSPEED driver also features a CNC Milled Infinity Face, which requires about 25 minutes of milling for every single clubface produced.

The RADSPEED XB is for players who want plenty of speed and distance but value forgiveness.  the RADSPEED XB is the answer. The 460cc clubhead utilizes rear-biased Radial Weighting to deliver the fastest and straightest ball flight of the three models. For golfers that preferred COBRA’s 2020 SPEEDZONE Xtreme driver, the RADSPEED XB delivers even more ball speed and lower spin while maintaining that extreme stability.  It also features a titanium T-Bar Speed Chassis and Thin-Ply Carbon Fiber Crown, CNC Milled Infinity Face and Radial Weighting Technology.

The RADSPEED XD for those who want distance while reducing their slice or creating a draw. Cobra say it is their longest and fastest draw-biased driver designed to provide maximum distance and slice-fighting power.  This second “Xtreme” model features the same slightly oversized 460cc profile as the XB, but with heel-biased Radial Weighting.

RADSPEED FAIRWAYS & HYBRIDS

COBRA RADSPEED-FAIRWAYS-HYBRIDS

As well as the introduction of the RADSPEED drivers, Cobra have also added RADSPEED fairway metals.  Utilizing weight savings from a thinner Carbon Crown design, COBRA engineers were able to free up more discretionary weight to position it forward and increase ball speed.  Using strategic Radial Weighting in each model (RADSPEED, RADSPEED Big Tour & Tour, and RADSPEED Draw), COBRA engineers were able to create three distinct performances.  Each fairway features COBRA’s signature Baffler Hollow Split Rails, which increase flexion on the leading edge by 70% to increase speed while still providing excellent turf interaction.

The RADSPEED hybrids utilise COBRA’s innovative Radial Weighting Technology with the emphasis on extreme front weighting for ultra-low spin, faster ball speed, and increased distance. A forged, high-strength steel face insert, and amd Hollow Split Rails combine to create a lower CG location, higher launch angles, more distance, and enhanced versatility from a variety of lies. The Baffler sole rails are a signature feature of COBRA’s fairways and hybrids, and allow the club to glide effortlessly out of the fairway, tight lies, thick rough and even bunkers. The RADSPEED Hybrids are available in both standard (Gloss Black/Turbo Yellow colorway) and ONE Length (Matte Black/Red/Blue/White) models.

RADSPEED IRONS

COBRA-RADSPEED-IRONS

Cobra say the RADSPEED Irons are their “most technologically advanced irons to date”. The RADSPEED Variable and ONE Length Irons feature game-changing innovations including Radial Weighting and debut the first ever 3D printed nylon medallion.

This first ever 3D printed nylon medallion utilises an intricate lattice structure to save weight and fine-tune feel. Upon closer review, golfers may notice the detailed lattice structure provides a window into the cavity and through the medallion.

With a name inspired by its key technology, Radial Weighting, the design of these irons is aimed at maximising performance through the strategic placement of weight relative to the Centre of Gravity (CG) to optimise speed and forgiveness.  COBRA engineers discovered that by positioning more mass low on the heel and toe (the two furthest points from the CG while remaining low in the head), they could lower the CG while dramatically improving the stability of the clubhead. 10g, in the form of a screw-in weight, is positioned in the toe and 3g of mass, is positioned in the heel to create the best combination of low CG, and high MOI for the fast ball speed and high launch. The RADSPEED irons are also avaiable in both Variable and One Length.

All RADSPEED products will be available from January 29, 2021 at our Professional Shops.

Winter golf is here! Many of us want to carry on playing through winter, and rightly so… winter golf can be fantastic.

However, there are some things that we need to think about so we can make sure we perform to our best ability, even when the conditions are not in our favour.

Here are our Top Tips For Better Winter Golf

A Good Wooly Hat

Most of us are aware that heat escapes from the head, so it’s super important that we keep it warm with a good wooly hat. If you can, get one that has thermal lining for extra warmth.

A Winter Jacket

Adding a good winter jacket to your wardrobe will definitely help you out on the course when the temperatures drop. It’s no good wearing lots of layers and restricting your movement… golf is hard enough as it is. The clever golf manufactures have designed winter jackets using modern lightweight technologies ensuring you’ll keep warm without any restrictions.

Winter Mittens

When out on the course in winter, you need to keep your hands warm. If your hands get cold, you won’t be able to grip the club properly which will make hitting a good golf shot less likely. Treat yourself to some winter mittens. These are perfect for keeping your hands warm in between shots and super easy to get on and off during your round.

Warm Golf Balls

You’ve probably heard that a warm golf ball flies further than a cold one… well, that is a scientifically proven fact. So, keep them as warm as you can. This is actually very simple – just keep them in your pocket as often as possible, or if you have your winter mittens on, drop it in there.

There you go – four simple tips to help you play better golf this winter.

To check out the latest winter golf products, make sure you head into one of our professional shops where the team will be able to help.

An exciting new chapter for one of Scotland’s top golfing venues, Dundonald Links, begins today with the launch of a new website and video, which set out the vision for an ambitious £25m investment that will see the club transform into a luxury golf resort from next summer – and lodge bookings are now open.

2021 will mark a new era for the esteemed course, owned by Darwin Escapes and located on Scotland’s west coast in Ayrshire, a year which will herald the planned opening of a new clubhouse and overnight accommodation facilities for individual and group guests.

Bookable for stays from July 2021, 18 luxury lodges – which feature two, four or six bedrooms – have been custom-designed with golfers in mind, with bag storage and drying areas, en-suite bathrooms, large living spaces and fully-equipped kitchen and dining facilities. Dundonald Links course designer Kyle Phillips is also creating a series of private putting greens on their doorstep.

Phillips is also overseeing £1m of investment in the course itself, with a focus on improving the playing environment and experience, and the addition of a new half-way house.

The combination of the course improvements, new clubhouse and overnight offering will play an important role in operator Darwin Escape’s aspirations to create one of the best venues in the UK to stay and play golf. The leisure operator acquired the club last year and promised to invest in new facilities from the outset after seeing its boundless potential and idyllic location.

Already a well-respected test for bucket-list golfers from across the world, Dundonald has hosted many major professional golf events since 2008 – including the Ladies’ Scottish Open in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in 2017.

Ian Ferguson, club manager, said: “We wanted to give the golf course the outstanding facilities that it deserves and give golfers everything they could possibly want from a golf break – and this investment programme will do just that.

“Our new video and website encapsulates our vision as we head into this incredibly exciting chapter of Dundonald’s history.

“We are really excited about the new clubhouse and accommodation and can’t wait to welcome our first overnight guests in summer 2021.  The Ayrshire coast is home to some of Scotland’s finest links courses and Dundonald Links will make the ideal base for golfers to explore all that it has to offer.”

Planned for opening later next year, the new two-storey clubhouse will be a striking contemporary design, with large balconies overlooking the course and panoramic views to the Isle of Arran. Facilities within the clubhouse will include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, whiskey tasting room, outdoor dining terrace, as well as a gym, sauna, steam room and extensive changing facilities.

Set amongst the picturesque Scottish countryside, the new clubhouse will be created from natural materials, finished with local whinstone and a grass roof, to blend seamlessly with the rugged landscape and surroundings and coincide with Dundonald’s long-term commitment to sustainability, conservation and nature.

In addition, Dundonald Links will cut the ribbon on 22 hotel rooms later next year, these situated beside the clubhouse for ease of access to the restaurant and club facilities.

We’ve all heard of the Callaway Chrome Soft & Chromesoft X, and we’re sure many of you have had them in play out on the course.

2020 has seen the latest generation of the Chromesoft franchise, and with an investment to the tune of $50 million into their ball production plant in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Callaway believe this has helped them produce a best in class golf ball. Big claims from Callaway, so we wanted to put the new Chromesoft to the test out on the golf course.

what has changed?

The new Chromesoft and Chromesoft X have both have been fully re-designed to promote more speed and distance while maintaining the great feel and spin characteristics Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X are renowned for.

“We’ve reinvented Tour ball performance again with our new Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X,” said Dr. Alan Hocknell, Callaway SVP of R&D. “Redesigning both models from the inside out allows us to give golfers more of what they want in a Tour ball – long distance, great feel and a spin profile that promotes low spin on full shots and high spin around the green.”

what’s new about Chrome Soft?

  • Redesigned Dual SoftFast core with a 34% larger volume inner core and a thinner, graphene-infused outer core promotes fast ball speed and increased wedge spin.
  • New mantle system formulated of proprietary, high-energy ionomer to promote fast ball speed.
  • 10% thinner urethane cover promotes less spin on full shots to promote distance while maintaining soft feel and excellent greenside spin and control.
  • New lower drag aerodynamic dimple pattern promotes higher launch, higher flight and long distance.

what’s new about Chrome Soft X

  • Significantly larger SoftFast core promotes faster ball speed.
  • Fifteen percent thinner cover lowers spin on full shots to promote distance.
  • New mantle system combines a softer inner mantle with a firmer outer mantle, both consisting of proprietary ionomer blends, to promote faster ball speed.
  • Firm outer mantle works with the new, thinner cover to promote increased greenside spin and control.
  • New lower drag aerodynamic dimple pattern promotes a penetrating flight and longer distance.

Here’s what we thought when we tested the Callaway Chromesoft & Chromesoft X balls at Kilnwick Percy Golf Club.

back to blog

Max and Lauren recently enjoyed a fabulous holiday break away to the Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club, read more about it here. Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club is located in Pocklington, Yorkshire and is home to a stunning 120 acre golf course, which is perfect for our Darwin Ambassador Max Evans. Max and his fiancée Lauren recently took a holiday break with us and Lauren played her first 18 hole golf course! We sat down with Max and asked him some questions about his break and the round of golf the pair enjoyed…

  • What made you choose a holiday escape at the Kilnwick Percy Resort over our other Darwin Escapes resorts?
As a proud Ambassador for Darwin Escapes, I’m spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a holiday escape. I chose Kilnwick Percy Resort on this occasion because firstly, I wanted to take my fiancée, Lauren, for her first round of 18 holes on a golf course. Secondly, I knew I could incentivise the trip by offering Lauren luxury accommodation and a wonderful spa all in the same place.
  • Did you visit the local area whilst staying with us? If so, where would you recommend?
We actually drove down from Newcastle and stopped at an English Heritage site, Mount Grace Priory House and Gardens. I love historic buildings and learning about our history so it was well worth it. We didn’t venture out of the resort during our stay, everything we needed and more was within the resort. On our way back to Newcastle, not far from the resort, we saw a road sign pointing to a 13th Century Church. We followed the sign and found the Church easily, it was smaller than I expected but amazing to see such an historic building from the 13th Century.
  • How did you find your spa experience and which treatment did you choose?
The Tranquility Spa experience was excellent. The staff were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. I had a deep tissue sports massage which I really needed and enjoyed very much. Lauren also had a massage, plus she had a gel nail manicure. She loved the massage and was very happy with her nails. I was really impressed by the Jacuzzi and barrel sauna’s, as a former sportsman I know full well the benefits of both for the body.
  • Which facility did you use the most whilst staying on the resort?
Probably the sauna to be honest! We used all of the facilities, the golf course, the gym, the spa, but we certainly used the barrel sauna more than once.
  • How did you find the golf course? Did Lauren enjoy playing her first 18-hole course?
I found the course a comfortable test. I loved feeling completely immersed in nature, by that I mean there is no sign of roads or buildings apart from the lodges which blend into the environment easily. The scenery is picturesque with many pretty holes. Apart from the rain, Lauren was smitten with her first round of Golf. It was obviously her first time learning many parts of the game and certain golfing etiquettes. I couldn’t have asked for a better course to introduce a total beginner.
  • What are your top tips for playing at the course at the Kilnwick Percy?
For the most part, the great thing about the course is the ability to know where you’re going off the tee. Playing it for the first time I wasn’t caught out by any hidden traps. It was a longer course than I expected and there are some tricky bunkers around some of the greens. I suppose my top tip for the course is to work on your bunker play around the greens.
  • What was your favourite hole?
My favourite hole was either the 2nd hole or the 9th hole. The 2nd hole is a testing par 4 with slight dog leg right. If the tee shot is in the right spot, it’s a really nice approach to the green. I really liked the par 3 9th hole, maybe because I had a birdie there, but also it’s a satisfying distance. It’s also next to the lodges, I was watching other golfers play the hole from our lodge afterwards.
  • What’s your top tip/bit of advice for anyone wanting to stay at a Darwin Escapes resort but has not yet taken the plunge?
TAKE THE PLUNGE! DO IT! I guarantee you will not regret it. I truly believe Darwin Escapes have nailed it when it comes to accommodating all different holiday makers. Whether its family, groups of mates, a couples retreat or even a solo trip to treat yourself. The staff are so friendly and I know it’s because the Darwin Escape resorts are all round happy environments. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else for a holiday in the UK.
  • Would you stay with us again and is there any particular reason you’d like to return?
Of course! No question! Lauren and I loved our lodge at the Kilnwick Percy Resort and we felt very tiny in it. We both agreed we’d love to return with our friends and have a blast one weekend! Picturing it now brings a big smile to my face.
  • Could you ever see yourself entering into holiday home ownership?
In all honesty this is the first time anyone has ever asked me. I’ve never thought about it before now. I’ve been so lucky all my life to have Mum and Dad living in Portugal, that’s always been my very fortunate go-to holiday destination. Before I was introduced to Darwin Escapes, it never crossed my mind to go on holiday in the UK. Now, with all that there is to offer at the Darwin Escapes resorts and with so many across the country to choose from, AND with their 3 golf course destinations, Kilnwick Percy, The Springs and Dundonald Links, it’s logistically miles better! I’m definitely interested to know more about holiday home ownership.
  • Are there any other Darwin Escapes resorts you’re eager to visit?
I’m genuinely so eager to visit them all! In the coming years I’m hopeful Darwin Escapes will add Padel Tennis to their long list of facilities. I’m absolutely obsessed with this new sport. It’s very popular in Spain and the courts are starting to increase in the UK. I know everyone will love it as much as I do because in my opinion it’s everything a Sport should be… fun, easy to play, social and competitive! Watch out for news of the first Darwin Escapes Padel Courts and I’ll be there eager as anything to play!
  • If you could only describe your Darwin Escapes experience in three words what words would you use?
Welcome Home Max. (Easiest question of all)

We think it’s fair to say that Max and Lauren had a fantastic holiday break with us at Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club and fully enjoyed all of the facilities available, as well as our beautiful 18 hole golf course.

Why not book your break away with us today and have the same experience as Max and Lauren at our stunning Kilnwick Percy Resort?
