Yes towels and bed linen are included in all of the accommodation.
Guests are welcome to bring their own BBQs if raised on bricks/stones and disposed of in a careful manner.
Yes we have several pet friendly lodges, please call for more information. If you do require pet friendly accommodation at Thanet Well, please be sure to include your pet on the booking form when arranging your stay with us. Are you looking to take two dogs on holiday? Coniston Water is approximately 38 miles away from the park and around a 1 hour and 15 minute drive.
Thanet Well Lodge Retreat is located approximately 15 miles away from Keswick. This journey normally takes no more than 25 minutes to drive.
There is a Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Booths supermarket located in the town of Penrith. Closer to the park is a post office located approximately 4 miles away in Greystoke.
Parking is available for one vehicle, additional parking is available in the gravelled areas on park.
Wifi is free but only available in selected lodges.
Penrith Railway station is approximately 8 miles away from our park.
The nearest pub and restaurant to Thanet Well Lodge Retreat is the Boot & Shoe in Greystoke.
We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure the park can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike.
We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non pet unit without the prior permission of the Park Manager. (This can be achieved by including your pet on your booking form to ensure you are allocated a pet-friendly unit).
- Where allowed, all pets must at all times be kept under proper control and must not enter any facility building. (excluding guide dogs)
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (unless in the dedicated dog areas) and prevented from fouling.
- All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.
- In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero as well as any other breed at the Park Manager’s discretion.
